New MAGURA Stamp: A Symbol of Ukraine's Military Strength
Ukrposhta has introduced a new stamp titled "MAGURA. Our Sky. Our Sea," celebrating the successful downing of two Russian Su-30 jets by Ukrainian drones.
This was announced by the CEO of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyansky.
On May 2, 2025, the Group 13 unit shot down Russian planes using the MAGURA V7 drones. This marks the first instance of air-to-air missiles being adapted for launch from a maritime drone.
The stamp features the goddess Magura, a symbol of war and protection for warriors, inspiring them to fight and instilling confidence in victory.
The design of the stamp was created by graphic artist Volodymyr Taran.
Thanks to the MAGURA V7 drones, Ukrainian forces from Group 13 have destroyed 9 enemy ships and 2 Mi-8 helicopters.
"We continue our naval collection and take pride in our military, preparing new projects with 'additional maritime arguments', – noted Smilyansky.
The stamp is already available for order on the Ukrposhta website.
It is worth noting that Ukrposhta previously introduced a postal release titled "City of Heroes. Mariupol," dedicated to the defenders of the city who perished due to the war.
