Funding for Restoration of Damaged Buildings in Odesa

The Odesa City Council has made a decision to allocate 50 million UAH for the restoration of buildings that were damaged during Russian attacks in April and May 2025.

This information was revealed during a live broadcast of an extraordinary session of the Odesa City Council organized by the city administration.

The majority of funds will be directed towards the restoration of a partially destroyed high-rise building located at Yaroslav Mudry (Hlushko), 2. The building suffered significant damage during a drone attack on April 30, when one of the Shahed drones hit the upper floors. Evacuation of residents is currently underway as living there has become unsafe.

Additionally, 2.7 million UAH has been allocated for the repair of three schools that were also damaged by enemy attacks.
