Revamping Street Lighting in Odessa
The specialists from the municipal enterprise «Odessmisksvitlo» have completed the restoration work on the street lighting network, specifically replacing a damaged pole at the address: Ivan and Yuri Lip Street, 34.
Since the beginning of 2025, the electricians have replaced a total of 14 street lighting poles.
They carried out the dismantling of the damaged pole and installed a new reinforced concrete one with light fixtures and cable lines.
Replacing poles is quite a labor-intensive process that requires the use of special equipment (cranes).

The specialists at «Odessmisksvitlo» regularly conduct repair works on street lighting in the city's streets, parks, and squares, as well as address emergency situations.
Planned inspections of street lighting facilities (poles, distribution cabinets, light fixtures, etc.) are continuously carried out to identify faulty or malfunctioning elements and acts of vandalism.
The electricians also carry out work on cable network adjustments, replacing outdated light fixtures and brackets with new ones, trimming tree branches, resolving emergency situations, and more.
