Spring Blooms in Odesa
The first spring flowers, including daisies and violas, are blooming at April 10 Square and Birzhova Square.
This year, the square has been traditionally adorned with the Coat of Arms of Ukraine and stylized sea waves.
By April 10, which marks the Day of Liberation of Odesa, a total of 657 square meters of flower beds are set to be planted.
In the spring of 2025, over 1550 square meters of flower beds featuring violas, daisies, selenes, and other flowers will beautify the city. Later on, these will be replaced by summer flowers: salvias, petunias, primroses, tagetes, and ageratum.

Specialists from the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» are preparing all necessary floral seedlings (both spring and summer) for vertical gardening in advance at the «Trojan» greenhouses, which operate year-round. Starting in September, preparations for the next year’s greenhouses begin.
