Street Lighting Upgrade in Odesa
Specialists from the municipal enterprise «Odesmisksvitlo» have completed work on upgrading the street lighting on Baltimorskaya Street (Posmitnogo) in Odesa.
The electricians replaced a damaged pole that was found to be in a hazardous condition.
During the operation, experts dismantled the old concrete pole and installed a new one. A new light fixture and cable were also connected.
Since the beginning of the year, «Odesmisksvitlo» has replaced 34 damaged poles.
The pole replacement process is labor-intensive and requires the use of specialized equipment (cranes).

The specialists of «Odesmisksvitlo» are continuously engaged in repairing outdoor lighting in the streets, parks, and squares of the city, as well as addressing emergency situations.
Regular inspections of street lighting facilities (poles, distribution boxes, fixtures, etc.) are conducted to identify faulty elements and acts of vandalism.
The electricians also work on cable re-tensioning, replacing outdated fixtures and brackets with new ones, trimming tree branches, resolving emergency situations, and other tasks.
