Humanitarian Aid for Odessa Clinical Hospital from American Donors

With the support of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, the "Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital" received significant humanitarian assistance from American benefactor and former senator John Kachelman through the "International Horizons Development and Aid Fund", led by Alireza Pahlavanzadeh.

As part of this initiative, the hospital was provided with medical tools and rehabilitation equipment that will support many patients. This assistance will improve treatment conditions and the effectiveness of rehabilitation processes within the facility.

Doctors stated that the humanitarian aid would greatly ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those undergoing rehabilitation or with limited mobility.

Overall, the following items were received by the institution:

  • wheelchairs for people with disabilities;
  • standard and forearm crutches to assist patients;
  • walkers for safe mobility of recovering patients;
  • medical clothing for ensuring sterility;
  • adult diapers, crucial for patients with limited movement;
  • hygienic gloves for medical staff.

These supplies are critical for treatment and rehabilitation, providing comfort for medical personnel and ensuring a high standard of medical services.

The humanitarian aid from the "International Horizons Development and Aid Fund" not only enhances treatment conditions but also allows the hospital to improve its material and technical base. Collaboration between medical institutions and charitable organizations is extremely important in a time when the healthcare sector faces numerous challenges, including resource shortages.

We express our sincere gratitude to the donors for their support. We hope for further collaboration to strengthen healthcare institutions in Odessa.
