Launch of a New CT Scanner at the Odessa Oncology Center
The Odessa Regional Clinical Oncology Center has officially launched a new CT scanner.
This cutting-edge medical equipment will significantly improve access to early cancer diagnosis for patients in the region.
Thanks to the support of the Odessa Regional State Administration and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the center has acquired state-of-the-art equipment that enables:
- early detection of tumors
- precise treatment planning
- effective monitoring of treatment progress
In the first few days of operation, the new scanner has already examined twelve patients, including:
- for initial cancer screening
- as part of post-chemotherapy monitoring
- with suspicion of metastatic lesions
- within volunteer medical support initiatives
