Success of Athletes with Disabilities at the Boccia Championship
The Boccia Championship of Ukraine for athletes with mobility impairments took place in Mukachevo, Zakarpattia, with 66 competitors from 13 regions participating.
The Odessa region was represented by Ivanna Shvets and Ivan Myslyai, both athletes from the Odessa Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports for Persons with Disabilities 'Invasport'.
They were trained by Natalia Yushkina, the senior coach of the national boccia team of Ukraine.
Competition results:
- Ivanna Shvets claimed first place and the title of Ukrainian boccia champion.
- Ivan Myslyai continues to gain competitive experience, finishing in sixth place.
The achievements of our athletes are a significant contribution to the development of inclusive sports in the region and the country. Each step towards victory shows that sports should be accessible to everyone!
