Youth Basketball League Championship: Results and Winners
The important phase of the basketball season has concluded in Ternopil — the «final six» of the Ukrainian championship for boys born in 2012.
In the decisive match, the teams SDYUSSHOR-5 from Dnipro faced off against Uzhhorod-ZODYUSSH.
The current champion, SDYUSSHOR-5, showed an impressive performance, winning the final with a score of 96:58, having not lost a single game throughout the season.
In the third-place match, the Odessa team SDYUSSHOR named after B.D. Litvak defeated the Cherkasy region team «Cherkasy Mavpy» with a score of 71:62. Ivan Vasilyev from the Odessa team, who made it to the symbolic team of the season, scored 30 points.
The athletes were trained by coaches Igor Solovey, Valeriy Balashov, and Vladislav Yanaki.
In Odessa's specialized out-of-school educational institutions, 394 students are engaged in basketball.
