Victory at the National History Olympiad

From April 9 to 13, the IV stage of the National Olympiad in History took place in Lutsk, with over 140 students participating from all regions of Ukraine.

The event was officially opened at the Museum of Contemporary Ukrainian Art of the Korsaks.

The competition consisted of two rounds: theoretical and practical.

According to the results of the Olympiad, Artem Pastoshchuk, an 11th grader from Odesa Lyceum No. 9, became the absolute winner of the National History Olympiad (history teacher - Sydorenko Alina).

The journey to this long-awaited victory took 4 years. In 2022, he first placed first in the regional stage of the history Olympiad but was unable to attend the training camp due to the full-scale invasion.

A week prior, Artem participated in the IV stage of the National Geography Olympiad, where he earned a II degree diploma.

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Artem was involved in various subject Olympiads and intellectual competitions, achieving a record number of prize-winning places at different levels.

Additionally, Artem Pastoshchuk is a Presidential scholar and a scholarship holder of the Mayor of Odesa.
