Safety Celebration: Teaching Children Mine Awareness
On the eve of International Mine Awareness Day, rescuers hosted a memorable safety celebration for children at the «UNICEF Together» site.
The boys and girls participated in a variety of exciting and educational activities.
They danced to lively tunes with psychologists, searched for mock explosive devices using detectors, learned to identify munitions, tried on bomb disposal suits, and discovered what to do when encountering an unknown object.
Additionally, there were patriotic face painting by rescuers, quizzes, riddles, and treasure hunts, along with colorful «101» balloons, all contributing to a wonderful time spent with friends.
It's crucial for our children to be informed about mine safety, as this knowledge can protect their well-being and save lives!
