Ukrainian Climbers Shine at the National Cup
The National Cup in climbing (speed) was held in Kropyvnytskyi from December 5 to 7, 2024.
A total of 149 athletes participated: 67 women and 82 men.
The city of Odesa was represented by the young talents from the Odesa Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve and the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery «Olympian».
At the National Cup stage, Yevheniya Kolesnyk from the Olympic Reserve School earned a silver medal and later improved her result in the finals to become the champion.
Konstantin Pavlenko from the Odesa «Olympian» School also clinched a silver medal.
The athletes were coached by trainers Lyubov Zymova and Tetiana Pashaieva.
