Festive Celebrations in Educational Institutions
In celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays, educational institutions in the city traditionally organized a series of festive activities.
In preschools, thematic sessions titled «Christmas Star at the Door» were held, allowing children to immerse themselves in the Christmas atmosphere, learn about the traditions of Christmas Eve, and even recreate some of them.
Additionally, musical-literary entertainment and thematic sessions about festive Ukrainian traditions were organized for the little ones. Preschoolers, along with their teachers, sang traditional Ukrainian carols, participated in round dances, prepared for the holiday, and crafted Christmas stars and amulets.
Moreover, exhibitions of drawings titled «Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!» were organized in preschools.
At the Odesa orphanage «Pearl», «Ukrainian Evenings» took place. Boys and girls made dumplings and boiled kutia. Afterward, the children had a festive meal together and received sweet gifts. After lunch, they attended the performance «In Search of Light».
At the Odesa Palace of Children and Youth Creativity «White Acacia», a New Year performance titled «Dreams Come True» was held. Over 200 children - young actors, singers, dancers - showcased their talents, providing the audience with incredible emotions and positive impressions.
As part of the «Warm Wave» initiative, students prepared letters for defenders, which, along with treats, were sent to the hospital for injured soldiers and defenders at the front.
