Ukrainian Judokas Shine at EYOF 2025
For the second consecutive day, Ukrainian judokas are bringing us joy with their medal victories at the EYOF 2025!
Ilaria Tsurkan became the champion in the girls' weight category up to 63 kg, defeating Rumeysa Kilicay from Turkey in the final with an ippon.
Mykhailo Solianyk, competing in the 81 kg weight class, earned a silver medal after losing in the 'Golden Score' to Tauss Babaychenko from Lithuania in the gold final.
The Ukrainian team at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Skopje has already secured eight medals: 3 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze, placing eighth in the overall medal standings.
