Ukrainian Fencers Make History by Winning European Championship
Ukrainian female fencers have made history by becoming European champions for the first time!
In the final of the women's team foil event at the continental championship held in Genoa, Italy, the Ukrainians confidently defeated the Swiss team by a score of 45:34.
The gold medalists of the European Championship are: Olena Kryvytska, Anna Maksymenko, Inna Brovko, and Vlada Kharkova.
In the semifinals, under the guidance of coach Bohdan Nikishin, our team triumphed over the host country and Olympic champions of 2024, Italy, with a score of 45:27, who ultimately took home the bronze.
