New Routes for Travelers to Transcarpathia
Due to the construction of the European railway line on the Chop — Uzhhorod section, Ukrzaliznytsia has restricted the routes for passenger trains from Odesa, Poltava, and Kremenchuk to the Mukachevo station. This has affected trains heading to Uzhhorod.
This was reported by the Odesa City Council.
Ukrzaliznytsia advises travelers to plan their trips to Transcarpathia in advance.
Passengers from Odesa can reach Uzhhorod via Lviv by taking train No. 12/11 Odesa — Lviv.
To accommodate passengers, Ukrzaliznytsia has opened advance ticket sales for additional cars on trains No. 59/60 Kyiv — Uzhhorod and No. 45/46 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod, which will run through Lviv — Uzhhorod — Lviv, stopping at Sambir — Syanok.
Tickets are already on sale, and purchasing is convenient through the website, the Ukrzaliznytsia mobile app, and at the railway ticket offices at the stations.
