Meeting to Support Veterans in Odesa
The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, held a meeting with representatives of the independent union of Ukrainian defenders «Solidarity of the Unconquered» Vadym Shypulin and Maksym Zhivanov.
Also participating were: the head of the Service Office «Veteran Hub» Volodymyr Yermakov, city deputy mayors Serhiy Kotsyuba and Valeriy Silin, along with the head of NGO «Barrier-Free» Oleksiy Morozov.
The agenda included coordination of actions in supporting veterans, rehabilitation programs, and issues of accessibility, as well as organizing events for the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, celebrated annually on October 1.
«We must not only remember our defenders, but also create conditions for their dignified life, rehabilitation, and development every day. It is our direct duty,» emphasized Hennadiy Trukhanov.

- Veterans have priority access to medical services, rehabilitation, e-prescriptions, and examinations through municipal and state programs.
- Odesa actively collaborates with veteran organizations, expanding the network of service points and involving specialists to work with veterans.
